AI automation pricing
Short answer
AI automation projects are quoted rather than list-priced, because the range is genuinely wide. Instead of one number, PHOENIX VERUS publishes the four variables that set the cost: how many systems the project touches, whether it writes as well as reads, how much judgement is required, and who operates it afterwards.
No list price, and no "contact us" either. Four variables set the cost, and a thirty-minute call is usually enough to place a project among them.
| Variable | Lower | Higher |
|---|---|---|
| Systems touched | One system with a documented API | Several, including a legacy system with no documentation |
| Read or write | Reads and reports only | Creates invoices, sends messages, changes records |
| Judgement required | Deterministic rules | Model-based decisions needing evaluation and review |
| Who operates it | Your team, after handover | Ongoing operation by us |
About pricing
Why publish prices at all?
Because the cost question is one of the highest-intent things a buyer searches for, and almost nobody in this category answers it. You also arrive at the first call already knowing whether we are in the same range.
Do the prices include VAT?
No. Every published price is net, and VAT is added on the invoice at the applicable rate.
Why is automation quoted rather than priced?
Because the range is genuinely wide and a single number would mislead you. We publish the cost drivers instead, so you can place yourself before speaking to anyone.

Not sure which tier fits?
A short call is enough to establish scope. If the smaller package is the right one, we will say so.
